While checking email this morning and surfing through some of the websites I visit daily, I came across this link about a man who just recently left his job as a reporter for a newspaper.
I found his thoughts on his former profession amusing and genuine.

Before college, I really wanted to be a reporter as well. It was a journalism professor who scared me out of the the field, though I am in a related field. He told me I would end up living off cigarettes and coffee. There are times when I wish I had continued to pursue it, though.
