Last night I aired a report about what appears to be a quota system within New Mexico State Police.

The NMSP administration is not calling what I found a "quota," but rather a "minimum performance standard."
Interesting.
That reminds me of the term Revenue Enhancements I hear often from politicians.

This is so true. Even with the cops out here in Los lunas, I think the "quota" thing is probably a statewide issue, not just limited to Santa Fe. I've always suspected the cops had a quota to meet, they are a sneaky bunch.
Thank you for looking into this. Dig deeper. As one close to the source, I can tell you, the way that the NMSP is running this "performance standard" program is wrong.
